Bac Ninh: Implementing the month of general cleaning, disinfection and environmental detoxification

BAC NINH - Vice Chairman of Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee Le Xuan Loi has just signed and issued Official Dispatch No. 1393/UBND-NN requesting the Department of Agriculture and Environment and localities in the province to focus on implementing the "Month of general cleaning, disinfection, environmental decontamination and vaccination for livestock, phase 2, 2025".

Specifically, the Department of Agriculture and Environment will preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies to organize and guide localities in implementing the "Month of general cleaning, disinfection and environmental detoxification, phase 2, 2025", from August 20, 2025 to September 20, 2025.

Strengthen management and closely monitor the disease situation in the province, promptly detect and promptly handle cases of sick animals, and prevent the spread of disease.

Strictly organize the implementation of the second phase of mass vaccination in 2025 for livestock herds according to the Plans on disease prevention and control for livestock, poultry and aquatic products in 2025. Guide breeders to apply biosafety and disease-safe livestock farming measures, and promote the construction of disease-safe facilities and areas.

Chairmen of People's Committees of communes and wards organize the launching and implementation of the "Month of general cleaning, disinfection and sterilization of the environment, phase 2, 2025". Proactively supplement funds, chemicals, materials and other expenses in addition to the province's support; establish cleaning teams and spray disinfectants to ensure timely and effective implementation.

Organize statistics on the total livestock herd, periodically vaccinate the second time in 2025, ensure that at least 80% of livestock herds subject to vaccination are fully vaccinated with the right type of vaccine, especially for diseases such as avian influenza, rabies, African swine fever, foot and mouth disease, lumpy skin disease, blue ear disease, etc.

Closely monitor the disease situation in livestock, promptly detect and report to specialized agencies to thoroughly handle outbreaks, not allowing the disease to spread widely. Propaganda in many forms helps people understand the dangers and risks of infection of animal diseases and proactively apply safe and effective disease prevention and control measures.
