On the afternoon and evening of May 26, the South Central, Central Highlands and South regions will have showers and thunderstorms, with some areas experiencing heavy rain with rainfall of 20-40 mm, in some places over 70 mm.

Thunderstorms may produce tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong gusts of wind. Moderate to heavy rain may cause flooding in low-lying areas.
