Bac Giang Newspaper and philanthropists give gifts to the needy in Luc Ngan, Lang Giang

BAC GIANG - On June 25, the working delegation of Bac Giang Newspaper led by Mr. Cao Minh Ngoc, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Bac Giang Newspaper, together with benefactors organized a gift giving ceremony for households in especially difficult circumstances in Phong Van commune (Luc Ngan).

The delegation presented 7 gifts, each worth 3 million VND, to households in the villages of Cha, Cau Nhac, Vua Ngoai, Suoi Chac and Vua Trong. These are families facing many difficulties in life, some of whom have terminal illnesses or congenital disabilities and need the community's support and assistance.

On the same day, 3 gifts (worth 2 million VND/gift) were also given to 3 households in Xuan Huong and Tan Dinh communes (Lang Giang).

The total value of the gifts is 27 million VND, donated by Mrs. Nguyen Thi Van's family on Nguyen Cong Hang Street, Ngo Quyen Ward, Bac Giang City. It is known that through Bac Giang Newspaper, Mrs. Van learned about the unfortunate circumstances above and decided to support. Although the gift is not large, it shows Mrs. Van's affection and spirit of mutual love for the community.

Speaking at the gift-giving ceremony, Comrade Cao Minh Ngoc shared that in recent years, in addition to propaganda tasks, Bac Giang Newspaper has always paid deep attention to social work and humanitarian activities. The agency has proactively organized many practical volunteer activities, joined hands to support localities with many difficulties; accompanied the poor, sponsored students who overcame difficulties to study well...
