Surprise about the male student's speech at the opening ceremony, unprecedentedly special

(Dan Tri) - Representing students in speaking at this year's opening ceremony, Kieu Tuan Dinh hopes to become rich to contribute to the country and to help those in difficult circumstances in life.

At the live opening ceremony at the National Convention Center this morning, Kieu Tuan Dinh, a 4th year student at Hanoi University of Science and Technology, represented students and gave a speech.

Expressing his emotion, pride and infinite gratitude, Kieu Tuan Dinh said that over the past months, many generations have sacrificed their blood and bones so that he and many young generations can be here today.

Those 80 years are an epic poem written with sweat, blood and bones so that today you can celebrate the opening ceremony in peace .

Also in the speech, the male student mentioned technology, AI... as the foundation of the future and the state is focusing on developing industries such as semiconductors and AI.

The male student expressed his wish to become rich, rich enough to live well, rich enough to contribute to the country and help people in difficult circumstances across the country.

This male student affirms that the intellectual capacity of Vietnamese people not only shines during wartime and poverty era, but also shines during the era of business, mastering technology and high techniques to serve human life.

“By 2025, the Party and State aim to become a developed country with high income. At this time, the main workforce is the young generation. From there, they will try to choose a suitable future for themselves and train to contribute to the country,” Tuan Dinh said.

Sharing about the aspirations of the young generation, the male student said that they can soon start businesses and develop science and technology enterprises, and want Vietnam to have large enterprises that can stand shoulder to shoulder with the world powers.

It is known that Kieu Tuan Dinh is a 4th year student at the Faculty of Electronics, School of Electrical and Electronics, Hanoi University of Science and Technology.

Knowing that he would be representing students from all over the country to speak at this morning’s special opening ceremony, Dinh was very nervous and had trouble sleeping. “Yesterday, everyone participating in today’s event had to stay in the dormitory. At 5:30 this morning, the school bus took us to the National Convention Center,” the male student said.

Tuan Dinh was born in Thai Nguyen. He entered Hanoi University of Science and Technology based on the results of the aptitude test.

In grade 11, I won third prize in the provincial physics competition. At Hanoi University of Science and Technology, I received the school's scholarship in 2023 and 2024; first prize in the Denso Factory Hacks 2023 competition, and certificates of merit for youth union activities from Hanoi University of Science and Technology and the School of Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

During 3 years of studying at the University of Technology, Dinh always achieved an excellent average GPA (3.4-3.7/4.0).

Sharing his study secrets, Dinh said that he always treasures the moments of studying with his teachers. He always remembers the lectures in class, and if he doesn’t understand something, he discusses it directly with the lecturer and cherishes the moments of communication with his teachers.

Besides studying, Dinh is passionate about football and badminton. Every week, he spends 1-2 sessions playing football and forms a badminton group.

Participating in school activities helps him become more confident and active. The male student said that his dream after graduation is to become a lecturer at Hanoi University of Science and Technology or to study abroad. "If I am lucky enough to study abroad, after returning, I plan to teach, do scientific research or start a business," Tuan Dinh said.
