An Giang Provincial Border Guards give gifts to 168 students in border areas

On August 28 and 29, the An Giang Provincial Border Guard Command presented gifts and financial support to 168 students in difficult circumstances living in border areas in An Giang province, on the occasion of the beginning of the 2025-2026 school year.

Colonel Le Hoang Viet, Deputy Political Commissar of the An Giang Provincial Border Guard Command, presented gifts to adopted children of Vinh Xuong International Border Gate Border Guard Station and Phu Huu Border Guard Station.

The working delegation came to meet, visit, present gifts, and provide financial support for the beginning of the 2025-2026 school year to 168 students, specifically: Presenting gifts to 10 students in the "Border Guard Station's Adopted Children" Program, 2 students in the "Godmother" Program; presenting financial support to 59 students in the "Helping Children Go to School" program, 97 students in the "Military Officers and Soldiers Help Children Go to School" project of the land border units of the An Giang Provincial Border Guard.

The working delegation presented gifts to adopted children of Vinh Dieu Border Guard Station and students of the "Godmother" Program.

Colonel Le Hoang Viet, Deputy Political Commissar of the Border Guard Command of An Giang province , affirmed that each officer and soldier of the Border Guard not only performs the task of maintaining sovereignty and border security, but is also a spiritual support, a teacher and an older brother of students in the border areas.

Colonel Le Hoang Viet, Deputy Political Commissar of the An Giang Provincial Border Guard Command and representatives of local authorities presented funds to students in the program "Helping children go to school" at Phu My Border Guard Station and Giang Thanh Border Guard Station.

Colonel Le Hoang Viet requested units to continue to promote the sense of responsibility, closely coordinate with local authorities, schools and families to promptly care for, orient and support children on the path of learning and training. Strengthen propaganda work, widely spread the humanistic values ​​of these programs and projects, thereby contributing to nurturing ambitions and giving wings to dreams for the young generation in border areas.
