Fostering knowledge on Party building work for the leadership team of reporters and editors of news agencies

On June 26, the Central Organizing Committee coordinated with the Ministry of Information and Communications to organize a conference to foster knowledge on Party building work for leaders, reporters, and editors of news agencies and newspapers in 2024.

Attending the conference were comrades: Phan Thang An, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee; Nguyen Thanh Lam, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications.

The conference was held in both direct and online formats, connecting from the Central Organizing Committee headquarters to the provinces and centrally-run cities with the participation of 1,720 delegates.

At the Ninh Binh province bridge, the training conference was attended by leaders and representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, the Department of Information and Communications, Ninh Binh Newspaper, the Provincial Radio and Television Station; along with a team of reporters and editors from news agencies and newspapers in the province.

During 1 day, delegates were trained in 6 topics, including: Protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting to remove bad and toxic information on cyberspace; new content on Party building and political system work in the resolutions of the 13th Central Conference; some issues on creating journalistic works in the political genre; skills in creating radio and television works; introducing the theme of creating journalistic works on Party building and the political system; new models, creative and effective ways in Party building work; skills in creating journalistic photos; sharing experiences in creating works of authors and groups of authors who won high prizes in the Golden Hammer and Sickle Award.

The topics discussed at the conference are very important, necessary and useful for those working in propaganda. Through the conference, we aim to supplement knowledge, raise awareness, update new perspectives and issues that need attention in Party building work in terms of politics, ideology, ethics, organization and cadres, contributing to the good propaganda of the implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2020-2025 term.

At the same time, foster skills in selecting topics, exploiting and processing information, and imparting creative experiences in works on Party building and political system building to reporters and editors who promote Party building of news agencies and newspapers at the central and local levels, contributing to better information and propaganda work serving the leadership and direction of Party building, associated with improving the quality of the National Press Award on Party building (Golden Hammer and Sickle Award).
