Training on AI applications in multimedia journalism

ĐNO - On the morning of August 22, in Da Nang city, the Center for Journalism Training (Vietnam Journalists Association) in collaboration with the Da Nang City Journalists Association opened a training course on "Application of artificial intelligence (AI) in multimedia journalism".

The two-day training course (August 22-23) was attended by nearly 50 trainees who are reporters and journalists from central and local press agencies in the Central and Central Highlands regions.

The lecturer of the training course is journalist, master Ngo Tran Thinh, Head of Multimedia Department, News Center, Ho Chi Minh City Television (HTV), and also a part-time lecturer of the Center for Journalism Training.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hai Van, Director of the Center for Journalism Training, said that in the context of strong technological development, equipping knowledge about AI has become an urgent requirement. The training course helps journalists update trends and master AI tools to improve the efficiency and quality of press products.

This is one of the key professional training activities, demonstrating the initiative of the Journalists Association at all levels in improving the professional qualifications of its members, contributing to building a modern, professional press, meeting the public's increasing need for information.
