On September 21, Tien Phong newspaper reporters noted that at the A1 roundabout area, authorities were constructing bored piles and test piles. At these locations, the construction unit arranged a system to signal the construction work in progress such as warning signs; directional signs; barriers; and flashing warning lights.

A representative of the People's Committee of Binh Duong province said that on September 26, the project will officially start construction, which is also the day the provincial planning will be announced.

A1 roundabout behind the Binh Duong Provincial Administration Center building (Hoa Phu ward, Thu Dau Mot city). At this location, there are major connecting roads including: Hung Vuong, Le Duan, Chu Van An, Cao Thang, Duy Tan, Le Hoan.

Binh Duong province is implementing a commercial center project with an area of ​​over 7 hectares, meeting international standards and considered the largest in Vietnam to date.

When the commercial center is formed, it will be a complex including an international fair and conference center, hotel, shopping area, office area, sports area, art area, etc.

The project has a total investment of about 2,400 billion VND. The project is expected to be completed after 18 months of construction. When put into operation, the station will serve about 14,700 passengers and 1,630 workers per day.

In particular, this area is being built a metro station, part of the A1 roundabout complex, connecting the metro line from Ho Chi Minh City to Binh Duong. The metro station has an area of ​​5,800m2 located under the A1 roundabout trade and service center, next to the Binh Duong administrative center.

At the A1 roundabout location, Binh Duong has invested in building the International Exhibition Center (WTC EXPO).

According to the People's Committee of Binh Duong province, in addition to the station, the A1 roundabout complex also includes structures such as a square with a capacity of 4,000-10,000 people, a multi-purpose gymnasium with a capacity of 4,000 people and a commercial center. This complex promises to become a modern complex, meeting the needs of the people.

Currently, the metro line extending from Ho Chi Minh City to Binh Duong is being studied by Vietnamese and Japanese authorities, but basically the end point will connect to the station at the 7ha roundabout. The metro line from Suoi Tien to Binh Duong is about 30 km long with a total estimated cost of more than 51,700 billion VND.
