Because there were no traffic signals, no one gave way to anyone, so I had to cross the other side of the road to get through. Ms. Bui Thi Hanh, a regular traffic participant on Ly Thuong Kiet street, shared:

"My company is located right on this road, so I pass by it every day on my way to work. During rush hour, the traffic is so heavy that it is difficult to move. Many days, vehicles jostle each other, everyone is in a hurry, so collisions easily happen. I have witnessed many accidents, from minor scratches to people falling on the road. Passing by here every day is stressful."

Officials of the functional forces said that during the morning, noon and rush hours, there are forces deployed to regulate traffic. In the morning, from 6:30, the force is present to regulate traffic, and in the afternoon starting from 16:30. Especially on rainy days, the number of vehicles increases dramatically, the force focuses mainly on regulating to avoid congestion, not conducting inspections or handling administrative violations. In addition, the Ly Thuong Kiet route through Thanh Vinh ward, although started a long time ago, has not yet been completed, causing a bottleneck in the traffic infrastructure in this area.
