Proactively organize teaching and learning in unusual situations

GD&TĐ - General schools proactively develop plans to organize teaching and learning in unusual situations, ensuring continuous educational activities.

This is one of the requirements of the Ministry of Education and Training for general schools in the 2025-2026 school year when carrying out the task of enhancing the application of information technology and digital transformation in education.

Specifically, the Ministry of Education and Training requested the Departments of Education and Training to advise on solutions to effectively implement the Project "Enhancing the application of information technology and digital transformation in education and training for the period 2022 - 2025, with a vision to 2030" in accordance with the plan and action program of the education sector and the local digital transformation plan.

Focus on promoting the application of information technology in management, operation, teaching and learning organization, testing and evaluation. Develop digital and open learning materials. Deploy learning management systems, school management systems, digital student records, and electronic teacher records.

Linking digital transformation activities with innovation in teaching methods, developing digital capacity of managers, teachers and students, ensuring information security and protecting personal data throughout the industry.

Increase investment in modern facilities and teaching equipment to meet the requirements of digital transformation and flexible teaching and learning, combining face-to-face and online learning. Pay attention to developing network infrastructure and terminals for teachers and students, especially in disadvantaged areas.

The Ministry of Education and Training also noted to promote the organization of professional activities in online form such as teaching, training, fostering, professional group/team activities, academic seminars; deploy platforms to support online teacher training, and develop training content that meets practical needs.

Proactively develop scenarios and plans for organizing teaching and learning in the context of natural disasters, epidemics or unusual situations, ensuring continuous and uninterrupted educational activities, aiming at the goal of "education in all circumstances".

Regarding the task of enhancing the application of information technology and digital transformation in education, the Ministry of Education and Training also requested the Departments of Education and Training to effectively direct activities to improve digital capacity for high school students according to the guidance of the Ministry of Education and Training, ensuring the formation and development of essential capacities of digital citizens, meeting human resource requirements in the era of the 4.0 Industrial Revolution.

Carry out tasks on digital transcripts according to the instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training and Directive No. 04/CT-TTg dated February 11, 2024 of the Prime Minister , ensuring connection and data sharing with the National Population Database, serving digital transformation in the Education sector.

Strengthen the application of artificial intelligence (AI) and big data in management and teaching; promote automation of administrative work, electronic books, timetables, professional assignments, facilities management, and reduce the workload for staff and teachers.

Exploiting and effectively using AI in career counseling support, personalizing learning, identifying students in need of support, and evaluating policies contributes to improving the quality of education and the effectiveness of school administration.
