At the exam site of Le Viet Thuat High School (Vinh city, Nghe An ), after the math exam on the afternoon of June 26, many candidates said that this year's exam had a tight structure, clearly differentiating abilities, especially in the last questions of the exam.
Le Duy Hoang, a 12th grade student at Le Viet Thuat High School, commented: “The first part of the test is mainly about recognition and understanding, not about puzzles, so candidates can easily get points. However, from question 35 onwards, the level of difficulty increases. These questions not only require students to have a firm grasp of knowledge but also to know how to apply it flexibly and think logically to solve it.”

According to Hoang, the test was quite long and the time limit was not much, making it difficult for many students to complete the test.
"I think to get 7 points or higher, students must have a math foundation and practice test questions regularly to do well," Hoang added.
At the exam site of Ha Huy Tap High School, Nguyen Phuong La Ny shared: "This year's exam was so difficult, I roughly calculated that I would get 5-6 points."
According to La Ny, the questions were not long but required candidates to understand the nature of the knowledge, especially the geometry and probability sections, which caused her many difficulties.
Overall assessment at many testing sites in Nghe An, teachers also commented that this year's math test ensured levels from recognition, understanding to application and high application.
However, the difference lies in the conciseness of each question. Although short, it requires candidates to have a firm grasp of the essence of the knowledge. They cannot just memorize the formulas and do it.
According to a report from the Nghe An Department of Education and Training, the second exam of the 2025 high school graduation exam took place safely, seriously, and in accordance with regulations.
The whole province has 39,772 candidates registered for the math exam. In the afternoon exam on June 26, 56 candidates were absent without reason, no violations of exam regulations or unusual incidents were recorded.
