The benchmark score for the medical major at Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy has slightly decreased.

The benchmark score for the medical major at Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy this year decreased slightly compared to last year, at 27.34 points.

Many universities announced admission scores this afternoon.

This afternoon (August 22), Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy announced the admission scores for the first round of 2025.

Accordingly, the medical industry has the highest benchmark score at 27.34 points. Next, the dental industry has a benchmark score of 26.45 points; and pharmacy 22.85 points.

Last year, the benchmark score for the medical industry based on high school graduation exam scores was 27.8; for dentistry it was 27.35; and for pharmacy it was 25.72.

Thus, this year's benchmark for medical science decreased slightly, dentistry decreased by nearly 1 point and pharmacy decreased by nearly 3 points.

According to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, after knowing the admission scores, successful candidates need to confirm their admission online on the general admission system of the Ministry of Education and Training no later than 5:00 p.m. on August 30.
