Dien Bien receives donations for the "Repaying gratitude" Fund

Comrade Tran Duc Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee and the delegation offered incense at the Dien Bien Phu Battlefield Martyrs' Temple.

Working with the delegation, on the side of Dien Bien province, there were comrades: Tran Quoc Cuong, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Lo Van Phuong, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; comrades of the Provincial Party Standing Committee; leaders of the Provincial People's Committee and a number of provincial departments and branches.

At the program, the leaders of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Hai Duong province donated 100 million VND to support the "Repaying gratitude" Fund on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024). This is a source of encouragement, contributing to creating resources for the Steering Committee of the "Repaying gratitude" Fund of Dien Bien province to better care for the material and spiritual life of policy families, people with meritorious services to the revolution, wounded and sick soldiers, etc.

Leaders of Hai Duong and Dien Bien provinces witnessed the ceremony of donating funds to support the "Repaying gratitude" Fund.

Speaking at the program, comrade Tran Duc Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee, informed about some highlights of the province's socio -economic development situation, care for the lives of policy families, people with meritorious services to the revolution, and wounded soldiers in Hai Duong province. He expressed his joy when visiting Dien Bien province, especially on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory. Through this visit, the Provincial Party Secretary hopes that the two provinces, departments, branches, and unions will unite, bond, and share experiences in all activities of the agencies.

Comrade Tran Quoc Cuong, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee, sincerely thanked the affection and support of the Provincial Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Duong province. Dien Bien province will mobilize all resources, continue to pay attention to social security work, repay gratitude, take care of the lives of policy families, people with meritorious services to the revolution, wounded soldiers, etc. The Provincial Party Secretary also hopes that in the coming time, Hai Duong province will continue to pay attention to and support Dien Bien province, especially in training high-quality labor resources, contributing to creating momentum for development.
