EREX Japan wishes to invest in biomass power project in Ha Tinh

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Trong Hai affirmed that Ha Tinh always accompanies and creates favorable conditions for EREX Joint Stock Company (Japan) to survey and invest in the biomass power plant project in the province.

On the morning of September 11, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Trong Hai had a working session with Erex Joint Stock Company to discuss a number of issues related to exploring investment in a biomass power plant in Ha Tinh.

Attending the meeting were Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Linh and leaders of a number of relevant departments, branches and sectors.

On behalf of EREX Joint Stock Company, there were Mr. Honna Hitoshi - Chairman and Director of the company and members.

At the meeting, Mr. Honna Hitoshi - Chairman and Director of EREX Joint Stock Company introduced the company's operations.

EREX Corporation is a Japan-based electricity producer and supplier, a pioneer in the use of biomass fuel in biomass power plants in Japan. In Vietnam, EREX has proposed investment projects for biomass power plants in a number of localities.

Mr. Honna Hitoshi - Chairman and Director of EREX Joint Stock Company informed about the company's activities and proposed Ha Tinh to support businesses in investment surveys.

In Ha Tinh, EREX Joint Stock Company wishes to survey and invest in a biomass power plant project with an expected capacity of 50 MW. The biomass power plant, when put into operation, will contribute to promoting the reduction of CO2 emissions, ensuring energy stability and sustainability; supporting the locality in creating jobs and increasing income for the people.

Mr. Honna Hitoshi affirmed that Ha Tinh has great potential for project investment; at the same time, he hopes to receive attention and facilitation from the government and relevant agencies so that the company can research, survey, and carry out related investment procedures.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Trong Hai informed about the investment situation in Ha Tinh province and the favorable conditions when projects are implemented in the area. At the same time, he affirmed that Ha Tinh is very happy and welcomes the Biomass Power Plant project of EREX Joint Stock Company.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that Ha Tinh province always accompanies, supports, and creates all conditions for EREX Joint Stock Company to research and invest in projects in the province. The Department of Industry and Trade will be the focal point to exchange and coordinate with the company, and together with the unit to conduct surveys in the province in the coming time.

At the meeting, delegates from both sides also discussed many more contents surrounding the Power Plan VIII; criteria on land, potential, traffic, water resources, distance from residential areas... to invest in biomass power plants.
