Specifically, with the attention of the Party and State leaders, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor has directed trade unions at all levels to coordinate with businesses and the whole society to accompany and support organizations, take care of Tet for union members and workers with many rich activities; support for nearly 7.5 million union members and workers in difficult circumstances (cash support from 500,000 VND/person); many union members and workers received gifts and visits from Party and State leaders. The total amount of money spent on visits and gifts for union members and workers at all levels is more than 4,200 billion VND.

The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor has directed the organization of the "2024 Trade Union Tet Market" program in provinces and cities, attracting millions of workers to participate, including many ethnic minority workers in midland, mountainous and border areas. At this program and 0-dong booths, many essential goods are sold at discounted prices to union members and workers compared to market prices. This year, online shopping and payment methods are applied to the maximum, helping many workers and laborers have the opportunity to buy more diverse Tet items.

In localities, trade unions at all levels organize many practical care activities for union members and workers, to ensure that everyone has a happy and warm Tet holiday with their families and loved ones, such as Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai, Binh Duong , Nghe An, etc. Some businesses have had specific and practical forms of support to help workers return home to celebrate Tet safely and happily, such as giving gifts, cash, vouchers, train and bus tickets, arranging shuttle buses to go home, and supporting free motorbike maintenance before workers return home, etc.
