On August 12, the leader of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee Office said that he had just issued a document announcing the conclusion of the Provincial People's Committee Chairman Pham Anh Tuan on resolving difficulties for key projects and driving forces in the western Gia Lai region.
According to the report of the Department of Finance and the Management Board of Construction Investment Projects of Gia Lai province, up to now, the progress of some key projects from public investment capital in the western Gia Lai region has not been guaranteed according to plan; compensation and site clearance are slow and prolonged.
Similarly, non-budgetary investment projects, although approved in principle, are implemented behind schedule.
Compensation, support, resettlement and site clearance work at key projects are prolonged; procedures for organizing land use rights auctions to select investors are delayed; there is a lack of clean land with infrastructure to attract investment. This leads to low revenue from land use in the western Gia Lai area.
Therefore, the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee requested departments, branches and localities where the projects are located to focus on resolving difficulties and problems. Speed up the implementation of public investment projects and investment projects from non-budget sources in the area.
Regarding the Nguyen Van Linh road and residential area project (old Pleiku city), Mr. Pham Anh Tuan assigned the Department of Finance to coordinate with relevant departments and branches to balance resources and propose funding arrangements to complete site clearance in 2025.
This is a large-scale urban reconstruction project in the south of Pleiku with a capital of 2,100 billion VND, but has been stalled for a long time due to land clearance problems.

Regarding the Eastern Economic Corridor Road Project (old Pleiku City) with a scale of more than 1,300 billion VND, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to work with the People's Committee of Bien Ho Commune to completely resolve property problems on land of households; complete site clearance before August 20.
Regarding the 5 wind power projects with an investment of thousands of billions of VND that have been completed but not yet put into operation due to inspection and examination conclusions, Mr. Pham Anh Tuan assigned the Department of Industry and Trade and relevant departments and localities to proactively guide investors to complete the procedural documents to meet the operating conditions as soon as they receive approval from the Central Government.
Regarding the Dak Doa golf course complex project, Mr. Tuan requested the Department of Finance to preside over the implementation of assigned tasks with relevant departments and the People's Committee of Dak Doa commune and based on the Central Government's direction to focus on removing obstacles related to projects after the conclusion of inspections and checks nationwide, to speed up the completion of correcting violations in this project.
For the CK54 urban area project with a scale of 17,000 billion VND, the Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Finance and other departments, branches and the Pleiku Ward People's Committee to monitor, urge and focus on completing procedures for selecting investors, striving to start construction on September 2.
