Teachers learn how to use AI to help design lesson plans and lectures

On August 28-29, in Yen Bai commune (Hanoi), the National Data Association coordinated with the Party Committee, People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Yen Bai commune to organize a training course on "Application of artificial intelligence (AI) and digital transformation in teaching". This is the second training course within the framework of the "Data popular education" program, after the first course in Nghia Tru commune (Hung Yen).

The "Data Education for All" program is an initiative of the National Data Association. According to the National Data Association, the program aims at comprehensive digital transformation in the education sector, improving teaching quality, and spreading the spirit of mastering data and technology to all classes of people.

Major Dao Duc Trieu, Director of the Center for Innovation and Data Exploitation, National Data Center; General Secretary of the National Data Association, informed: "Data popularization" carries the spirit inherited from the previous "Popularization" movement. "Now, that mission is continued in a new context: Eradicating data illiteracy, enlightening digital knowledge, helping people become "data citizens", knowing how to use, analyze and apply data in the digital age", Major Trieu shared.

Teachers learn to apply AI in teaching

The training course took place over 2 days, attracting nearly 200 teachers from schools in Yen Bai commune.

The course does not focus on technical knowledge but focuses on helping teachers understand and apply practical skills, including: using classroom management software and online teaching; exploiting open data sources for teaching; applying basic artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support lesson plan development, lecture design...

The course is taught directly by experts in AI, digital transformation and education of Nguyen Hoang Group (member of the National Data Association). In particular, Dr. Duong Van Thinh, an expert with more than 10 years of research and teaching on AI and data, also participates in teaching.

In addition, technology experts from Veron Company (under Nguyen Hoang Group) participate in teaching, supporting practice and answering questions for students throughout the learning process.

The special feature of the program is the combination of theory and practice, creating conditions for teachers to immediately apply knowledge to daily work, thereby improving teaching effectiveness.

During the program, the National Data Association also donated 5 65-inch TVs to primary and secondary schools with difficult conditions in Yen Bai commune, contributing to improving teaching facilities.
