'Going Beyond - Never stop reaching further'

On the morning of September 5, more than 22 million students of kindergartens and primary schools across the country officially started the new school year 2023-2024. Joining the jubilant atmosphere welcoming the new school year across the country, teachers and students of the TH School System excitedly entered the new school year with new confidence and enthusiasm.

After 8 years of establishment and development, TH School is now complete with 3 modern facilities in Chua Boc, Hoa Lac ( Hanoi ), Vinh city. In the autumn weather, the opening ceremony of TH School in Hanoi opened with a vibrant, energetic drum performance by students at the pink school with beautiful lotus architecture on Chua Boc street.

Students were excited at the warm and brief Opening Ceremony, welcoming the new school year 2023-2024 at TH School, Chua Boc, Hanoi on the morning of September 5.

The special highlight of the “ever-reaching” opening ceremony was the moment when TH School’s new students walked on the red carpet to the sound of bells, holding colorful flags representing their home countries.

In the new school year, TH School welcomes new students from 20 countries, bringing the total number of “nationalities” of the student community to nearly 30, including many new students from Korea, the US, Russia and India.

Attending the opening ceremony, young talents - former students who graduated from TH School sent greetings from many places around the world . Students and parents at the opening ceremony were also strongly impressed with the outstanding achievements of teachers and students of the school in the past school year and the spirit of being ready to conquer higher challenges - reaching for more outstanding achievements - always maintained and inherited through generations of TH School students.

“Going Beyond - Never stop reaching further” is the main theme implemented throughout the new school year of the school, expressing the desire to go beyond limits and always be ready to conquer new achievements.

Also during the ceremony, a video introducing the school with sincere messages from the heart of a mother who loves her children dearly and is always passionate about building an outstanding educational model in Vietnam by Founder Thai Huong touched the hearts of those attending the ceremony.

She shared her thoughts and passion for building TH School, with the heart of a mother, to bring international quality education, nurturing a generation of global citizens to develop comprehensively in the future, right in her homeland, Vietnam.

“ On the path of education of their children, mothers always want to give their children the best opportunities and the best learning environment. However, surely no mother wants to let go of her young children to step into a strange world. No mother wants her child to leave her arms early with an incomplete childhood in a foreign land.

Every mother, whose child goes to school thousands of miles away from home, must have felt the salty taste of tears when seeing her child off at the airport. Then every night she is restless because of the pain of missing her child and the lingering disappointment when visiting her child in a hurry .

On the opening day, Founder Thai Huong shared: “ I believe that by being attached and growing up in an environment that promotes effort, and being given maximum conditions for comprehensive development: mental strength - physical strength - intelligence, each TH School student will be further motivated to promote their inherent strengths, establish a responsible future roadmap, with the desire to assert themselves, and become a better version of themselves.

Overcoming language barriers and cultural differences, the team of teachers and staff of the whole school always cooperate effectively, work hard and dedicate themselves to contribute to the success milestones of TH School: It is the result of listening and understanding each other, aiming for a single goal: All for our beloved students!

In the joyful atmosphere welcoming the new school year, Mr. Stephen West - General Principal of TH School System shared: “ In the 2023 - 2024 school year, the school has also prepared a plan for the goal of reaching out. The school will continue to expand cooperative relationships, seek new opportunities for students to have more experiences, and raise the quality of teaching and learning activities to new heights.

Next school year, with the spirit of "continuously reaching out", TH School will continue to pursue the roadmap to achieve WASC accreditation standards for Hoa Lac boarding facilities .

Not only stopping at providing an international standard curriculum, after many years of journey with the desire to demonstrate TH School's commitment to promoting an excellent learning environment, on July 18, 2023, the school's Chua Boc campus was certified by the Accreditation Commission of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (ACS WASC) to meet international accreditation standards for all levels from Kindergarten (PreK/KG) to grade 12.

Certification from WASC, one of the oldest and most highly regarded accreditation agencies in the world, is a guarantee for the educational quality of TH School, as only 19 schools in Vietnam are recognized.

Graduating from a WASC-accredited school will give TH School students many advantages in their studies and careers, including prestige in terms of academic qualifications, higher international study opportunities thanks to the extensive global network of WASC members.

To achieve this result, the school has passed the accreditation exams, demonstrated its capacity through specific evidence in teaching and learning, meeting many strict requirements and standards of WASC. TH School also sent a team of excellent teachers to attend WASC training programs abroad to continue maintaining and developing capacity, and welcomed the delegation to Chua Boc campus for direct inspection and evaluation.
