Beautiful action of male valedictorian of Hue University of Law

(NLDO) - After receiving a 30 million VND scholarship, the male valedictorian of the University of Law - Hue University spent 10 million VND to support disadvantaged students.

On the morning of September 5, Hue University of Law solemnly held the opening ceremony of the new school year 2025-2026. This year, the school welcomed more than 1,400 new students from all over the country to study, full of different regional cultures but with the common spirit of a tradition of studiousness.

New valedictorian Nguyen Dau Thai Binh received a scholarship and certificate of merit from the school.

This year’s valedictorian, freshman Dau Nguyen Thai Binh, is the valedictorian of Hue City and the candidate with the 4th highest score nationwide. Therefore, Thai Binh was awarded a certificate of merit and a scholarship worth 30 million VND by Hue University of Law.

After receiving the scholarship, Thai Binh decided to donate 10 million VND to support students in the same class who have difficult circumstances but are determined to excel in their studies. This beautiful action not only spreads the spirit of sharing but also demonstrates the responsibility of a young person who knows how to support the unfinished dreams around him.

Valedictorian Dau Nguyen Thai Binh is a former 12th grade student majoring in Mathematics 1 at Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted in Hue. In the 2022-2023 school year, Thai Binh and his research team won second prize in the National Science and Technology Competition with the topic "Smartphone abuse behavior in high school students: Current situation and prevention". These achievements helped him to be directly admitted to Hue University of Law.

Awarding prizes to 3 co-valedictorians of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy - Hue University and also co-valedictorians of Hue University in the 2025 regular enrollment course.

On this occasion, Hue University of Law also awarded 20 million VND to the runner-up, student Hoang Cong Quy; and rewarded 69 students who have made great efforts in training, studying and achieving the title of excellent students in the 2024-2025 school year.

In the 2025-2026 school year, Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy welcomed 1,411 new students of the 2025 class in 11 full-time university training majors. At the opening ceremony on the same morning, the school honored 12 valedictorians of the majors enrolled in 2025 and 1 student who won a silver medal at the International Biology Olympiad at the high school level.

Awarding awards to 13 outstanding student groups, 4 advanced student groups, 456 students in the 2024-2025 school year, and 20 students with outstanding achievements in study and training in the 2024-2025 school year.
