Speaking at the opening press conference before the tournament, coach Diego Giustozzi emphasized the serious and thorough preparation of the team over the past month: "We have had 3 weeks of training in Vietnam, followed by 10 days of training in Kuwait and China. I think the whole team has prepared well for this mission."

Evaluating the opponents in the same group, China, Hong Kong (China) and Lebanon, the Argentine strategist frankly commented: "For me personally, this is a challenging group. There may be many different opinions about the level of the teams, but in my opinion all three opponents are quality teams.

This is definitely not an easy group. The coaching staff always tries to prepare the players mentally for the competition. I believe in my players, and as long as they are confident in themselves, we will have nothing to worry about."

Also attending the press conference, team captain Pham Duc Hoa also expressed the determination and optimism of the whole team. He said: “We players are all trying our best with the goal of passing the qualifying round with the maximum points and the most convincing performances.”

According to the match schedule, the Vietnam Futsal team will face opponents from Hong Kong (China), China and Lebanon at the Linping Sport Center Gymnasium, Hangzhou.
