(Dan Tri) - Ca Mau has issued regulations on health insurance support for certain subjects and monthly support for medical staff in hamlets and residential areas.
Information from the People's Committee of Ca Mau province, the People's Council of this province has just approved regulations on health insurance support levels for a number of subjects in the area.
Specifically, the province supports 100% of health insurance premiums (of which the local budget covers 30%) for the following groups: people in near-poor households according to the near-poor household standards for the 2022-2025 period; and people in multidimensionally poor households.
Ethnic minorities living in communes in regions II, III, and extremely disadvantaged villages in ethnic minority and mountainous areas in the 2016-2020 period, but these communes are no longer on the list of communes in regions II, III, and extremely disadvantaged villages in the 2021-2025 period according to the Prime Minister 's decision.

The province supports 50% of health insurance premiums (of which the local budget covers 20%) for the following groups: students of schools in the province; people in households working in agriculture, forestry, fishery and salt production with an average living standard according to the standards for households with an average living standard in the period 2022-2025.
"Supporting the contribution level contributes to increasing the rate of people participating in health insurance, maintaining the stability of new rural and advanced new rural commune criteria; limiting the situation of re-poverty, and implementing well social security policies in the area," according to the People's Committee of Ca Mau province.
The People's Council of Ca Mau province also agreed on the monthly support level for medical staff in hamlets and residential areas in the area.
Of which, support is 0.5 times the basic salary/person/month for hamlet health workers in communes in region III, communes in coastal and island areas; and hamlets with special difficulties according to the Prime Minister's decision.
The province also supports 0.3 times the basic salary/person/month for medical staff in hamlets and residential areas in communes, wards and towns that are not included in the above subjects.
