
Within the framework of the homestay exchange program between students from Da Nang and Changwon (Korea) taking place from July 24 to 29, 9 students from different secondary schools in Changwon city (Korea) visited Da Nang Museum, Fine Arts Museum, Nguyen Hien Dinh Tuong Theater and Con Ga Church. In addition, they experienced dancing activities at Da Nang Children's Palace, pottery making at Thanh Ha Pottery Village and visited Hoi An ancient town.
In particular, 9 families of students from Da Nang city welcomed Korean students to live and experience local life to better understand Vietnamese culture and foster stronger friendships with students from the city.

Through the program, Korean students have a better understanding of Vietnamese culture; meet, exchange, and build good friendships with Vietnamese students. From there, promote the image of modern, friendly, and hospitable Da Nang city to international friends; contribute to strengthening and tightening the cooperative and friendly exchange relationship between Da Nang city and Changwon in particular, and between Vietnam and Korea in general.

The Department of Foreign Affairs said that the homestay exchange program between students from Da Nang and Changwon (South Korea) organized by the department since 2017 has achieved many positive results.
This program is a restart event after a period of suspension due to the Covid-19 pandemic, starting a new phase of cooperation, carrying many meanings, creating opportunities for students to understand more about the culture, life, and friendship between the two countries.
