Banking Academy plans to increase tuition fees for the 2025 school year

In the 2025 enrollment season, Banking Academy plans to use 5 enrollment methods, including 2 methods using transcripts with a total of 35% of the target; tuition fees are expected to increase from 1 to 3 million VND.

On February 15, the Banking Academy announced its expected plan for full-time university enrollment in 2025. Accordingly, the academy plans to enroll 3,644 students, using 5 admission methods.

35% of the quota for methods using transcripts

Method 1 is direct admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training. Banking Academy does not announce how many quotas are available for this method.

Method 2 is admission based on academic results, expected to account for 20% of the target, for candidates with excellent academic performance in grade 12 and with an average score of 8 or higher for 3 years of each subject in the admission group.

Method 3, admission based on international certificate results, 15% of the target. In addition to the academic record requirements as in method 2, candidates need to have one of the following certificates: SAT from 1200 points or higher, IELTS from 6.0 or higher, TOEFL iBT from 72 points or higher... Thus, 35% of the target is for methods using academic records.

Method 4 is admission based on the results of competency assessment exams, 20% of the target (an increase of 5% compared to last year). This method considers candidates with scores from the competency assessment exam of Hanoi National University and the V-SAT exam (an exam organized by participating schools, the National Testing Center and Education Quality Assessment, Ministry of Education and Training is the coordinating unit, supports and provides a question bank).

Method 5 is based on high school exam results, 45% of the target (5% reduction compared to last year). The minimum score for method 5 will be announced by the academy later (last year the minimum score for admission to the academy using this method was 21 points).

Tuition fees expected to increase by 1 million VND

In the enrollment plan, Banking Academy also informed about the expected tuition fees for the 2025-2026 school year with standard training programs ranging from 785,000 VND to 830,000 VND/credit.

Of which, block III (business management and law) is 785,000 VND/credit, equivalent to about 26.5 million VND/year, an increase of about 1.5 million VND compared to last year.

For industry V (information technology), 830,000 VND/credit, equivalent to 28 million VND/year, an increase of about 1.5 million VND compared to last year.

Block VII (humanities, behavioral social sciences ) 800,000 VND/credit, equivalent to about 27 million VND/year, an increase of about 1 million VND compared to last year.

For high-quality training programs, tuition is 1,113 million VND/credit, equivalent to 40 million VND/year, an increase of about 3 million VND compared to last year.
