Cooperation between Tan Son district and Hwaseong city, Korea under seasonal labor program

The Provincial People's Committee has just issued Document No. 4010/UBND-KGVX dated September 24, 2024 on cooperation between the People's Committee of Tan Son district and Hwaseong city, Korea. Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Foreign Affairs, the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, and the People's Committee of Tan Son district, based on their assigned functions and tasks, to coordinate and implement seasonal labor cooperation in Korea in accordance with current regulations; at the same time, be responsible before the Provincial People's Committee and before the law for the implementation of the above-mentioned seasonal labor cooperation.

In response to the situation of defrauding workers going to work in Korea under the E8 visa seasonal labor program, the Department of Overseas Labor Management ( Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs ) has just issued a warning. According to the Department of Overseas Labor Management, although the authorities have repeatedly warned and advised workers, there are still cases of brokers reporting and defrauding workers who want to work seasonally in the agricultural sector in Korea under the E8 visa program.

This is a direct cooperation program between Vietnamese localities and Korean localities based on a cooperation agreement signed between the two localities to select and send local workers to work seasonally in the agricultural sector in Korea under this program.

To avoid being scammed, the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs recommends that workers in the province in general, and Tan Son district in particular, who want to work in Korea under the seasonal labor program under the E8 visa, only contact the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs or the Center for Employment Services - Vocational Education (Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs) directly to find out related information. Workers absolutely do not listen to unofficial advertisements and do not contact intermediary organizations and individuals to avoid being scammed.
