The 2025 ASEAN Police Football Tournament opened on the evening of July 9 and will run until July 15 at Hang Day Stadium ( Hanoi ).

The tournament took place on a very special occasion.

Minister of Public Security Luong Tam Quang delivered the opening speech, the tournament hosted by the Ministry of Public Security on a very special occasion.

That is the whole country preparing for the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on September 2, the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam People's Public Security Force and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection.

The Minister affirmed that the tournament was organized with the desire to strongly spread the spirit of solidarity, discipline, dedication, and inspiration of the king sport, to strengthen solidarity and friendship between countries in the region and the world, as well as between Vietnam and other countries, between the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam and the Public Security forces of other countries.

Thereby promoting close and effective cooperation between the Public Security forces of the countries in ensuring security and order, fighting and preventing crimes, especially transnational crimes, for peace, security, safety, stability and prosperity in the region and the world.

Vo Ha Tram and Dong Hung "compete in voice", "burn up" the stage

With the performance Continuing the story of peace , Vo Ha Tram and Dong Hung are two artists who received public attention after the April 30th celebration.

On the evening of July 9, the two reunited on the same stage, singing songs about the country and love of rolling football.

There is also the Oplus group and international artists from 6 countries, performing in many different languages.

With the songs "The Road We Go", "Noi vong tay lon", "Unstoppable", "I Love Football", "The Cup of Life", "Heal the World", "Let's Shine" and "The Road to Glory "..., the artists all aim for the same aspiration of a Southeast Asia united for peace.

In particular, Vo Ha Tram and Dong Hung had a "voice duel" between the two vocalists, turning the opening stage into a fiery pan, welcoming the other teams to Vietnam to compete.

The opening ceremony was elaborately and magnificently staged, combining traditional and modern music, transcending cultural and linguistic boundaries, expressing the aspirations, solidarity and noble ideals of the new generation of police officers.

The event opened with a drum performance, combined with lion, dragon and unicorn dances imbued with Vietnamese culture with the theme "Aspiration to Shine" performed by nearly 600 students of the People's Police Academy.

The tournament brings together 8 teams from 7 countries, including 5 teams in the ASEAN region, one guest team outside the region (Australia) and two host teams from Vietnam.
