Opening of the F1 world powerboat race held in Binh Dinh

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Pham Anh Tuan, Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee, said that the UIM F1H2O World Championship - Grand Prix of Binh Dinh 2024 is the world's leading international powerboat racing tournament.

The highly competitive, challenging and exciting tournament offers some of the most spectacular sporting action and is considered one of the most exciting and spectacular water sports in the world. Over its 39 years of operation, the tournament has hosted 295 Grand Prix events in more than 33 countries across five continents.

Mr. Ho Quoc Dung, Secretary of Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee, beat the drum to open the Grand Prix of Binh Dinh 2024 race.

According to Mr. Pham Anh Tuan, the UIM F1H2O World Championship - Grand Prix of Binh Dinh 2024 is an opportunity for Binh Dinh people in particular and domestic and international tourists in general to have interesting experiences in Thi Nai lagoon, enjoying the unique culinary flavors of this province.

The Ministry of Home Affairs has granted the decision to allow the establishment of the Vietnam Powerboat Racing Federation to the representative of Binh Dinh F1 Joint Stock Company.

On behalf of the organizer of the Grand Prix of Binh Dinh 2024, Mr. Tran Viet Anh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Binh Dinh F1 Joint Stock Company, shared: "Boat racing is not just a sport, it is a symbol of strength, perseverance, endurance and solidarity. At the same time, we believe that in the future, this sport will become a constant source of inspiration for young Vietnamese talents to be able to develop and realize their dreams."

On this occasion, the Ministry of Home Affairs handed over the decision to allow the establishment of the Vietnam Powerboat Racing Federation to the representative of Binh Dinh F1 Joint Stock Company, the host of the UIM F1H2O World Championship - Grand Prix of Binh Dinh 2024.
