On August 14, Mr. Do Huu Quynh - Deputy Director of Khanh Hoa Department of Education and Training - affirmed that the department will consider the responsibility of the examiners after some literature exams of the 2025 high school graduation exam of candidates in this province increased by 0.5 points or more after re-examination.
According to Mr. Quynh, a difference of 0.25 points after the literature review is acceptable because it depends on the examiner's assessment of the student's ability to perceive or express. The difference in points often occurs in the paragraph writing and essay writing sections of the candidates.
Exams with re-examination scores that differ from the first grading score by 0.25 points will have their scores adjusted to ensure the rights of candidates.
However, when the difference is 0.5 points or more after the re-examination, the regulation requires a dialogue between the re-examination examiner and the first-round examiner to clarify the cause.
The review of responsibilities to review and draw lessons from the exam marking process needs to be done carefully and thoroughly, with the goal of ensuring the most accurate exam scores and the rights of candidates.
If other violations are detected, they will be handled.
As reported by Tuoi Tre Online , the re-scoring results of all multiple-choice exams in Khanh Hoa kept the same scores as before the re-scoring.
For the literature subject alone, the total number of exams proposed for re-examination is 346, of which 196 exams have the same score after re-examination; 148 exams have increased by 0.25 points; one exam has increased by 0.5 points; one exam has increased by 0.75 points.
