Recently, at Cu village (Quang Phong commune, Que Phong district, Nghe An province), Nghe An Press Tennis Club in coordination with Quang Phong commune People's Committee organized the groundbreaking ceremony to build a flood-overpass bridge to serve nearly 400 households of Cu and Tin Pu villages.
Cu village and Tin Pu village belong to area 30A, are remote areas, so the life of local people is still difficult. Currently, these two villages have 400 households with nearly 1,800 people, most of whom are Thai ethnic group.

The people here mainly earn their income from agricultural production, farming and livestock raising, and their lives are still very difficult. The village’s infrastructure is lacking in all aspects, especially roads, bridges, etc.
In Cu village, Khe Cong runs across the residential road connecting Cu village and Tin Pu village to the center of Quang Phong commune People's Committee and schools in the area. During the rainy season, the stream water rises, making it impossible for people to travel, and many students even have to stay home from school.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony on October 8, Mr. Le Van Thanh, Chairman of Nghe An Press Tennis Club, said: "Although the cost of building the bridge is not large, this is the sentiment and sharing that journalists and reporters working in the Club, along with their brothers and benefactors, send to the people, with the desire to contribute to helping the people living in Cu village and Tin Pu village have a bridge for convenient and safe travel, without having to climb mountains and wade through streams every time the rainy season comes."
