Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee leaders work on ideas for developing cultural industry

On the afternoon of July 30, Mr. Dinh Van Tuan - Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee chaired a working session with ASEAN Hub Joint Stock Company to listen to ideas on developing cultural industry and innovation.

ASEAN Hud Joint Stock Company presented the proposed contents of organizing events and projects: Lam Dong Investment Promotion Workshop to rise up in the new era; iLead CoE Center at Da Lat University; Paris Fashion Week in Lam Dong; BiOcity Complex Project to develop technology - production - raw material growing area in Di Linh; Automatic digital station solution for public administration; technologies for preserving vegetables, flowers, agricultural products; building medicinal herb growing areas...

Each content is a dedicated idea for the province to develop cultural industry, innovation, and digital technology .

Departments, branches and training units attended the meeting

The Paris Fashion Week event, scheduled to take place in October with the participation of 40 models from 35 countries, is the first international fashion model event and award in Southeast Asia.

Not simply a fashion show on stage, the Fashion Week is associated with famous landscapes and destinations of Lam Dong such as Tuyen Lam Lake, Mui Ne, Ta Dung Lake... combined with Da Lat flowers, contributing to making Lam Dong a major center of many cultural industrial fields.

In addition, ASEAN Hud Joint Stock Company also provided information about the Biocity Complex Project in Di Linh. Accordingly, the project has a scale of 50 hectares, with 4 items: Technology development zone, production factory, clean material growing area - organic farming, supporting infrastructure and value chain. In which, organic agricultural development, circular economy are linked with experiential tourism, cultural and ecological conservation.

Leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism add ideas to Fashion Week

At the meeting, leaders of departments and branches raised many ideas such as: Bringing traditional products (brocade, silk) of Lam Dong into the Fashion Week, promoting more destinations of the new Lam Dong province; combining fashion shows with music; linking the Fashion Week with the Return Steps program, exchanging with Lam Dong youth... to create a series of events.

With the Biocity Complex project in Di Linh, the consulting team needs to clarify data and parameters on domestic and international comparisons, raw material areas, medicinal herb areas, human resources, post-harvest preservation technology, etc.

Concluding the meeting, Comrade Dinh Van Tuan - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: Lam Dong supports the ideas and projects of ASEAN Hub Joint Stock Company, which have paid attention to developing cultural industry, science and technology, innovation, promoting medicinal resources, developing biomedicine, training human resources of the province... The Provincial People's Committee assigned the departments and branches to continue working and researching in each appropriate field in the spirit of socialization, without using the budget.

Lam Dong proposed ASEAN Hub Joint Stock Company to consult on the development of cultural industry ideas based on Lam Dong's cultural characteristics, new potential advantages, intra-provincial, regional, national and international linkages; creating new cultural products on the basis of promoting traditional cultural values; especially the heritage of the Central Highlands Gong Cultural Space.
