In particular, for fresh rice, according to the update from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of An Giang province, the current price of IR 50404 rice decreased by 100 VND, fluctuating at 5,200 - 5,400 VND/kg; Dai Thom 8 rice decreased by 100 VND, fluctuating at 6,500 - 6,700 VND/kg; OM 5451 rice fluctuated at 5,800 - 6,100 VND/kg; OM 380 rice fluctuated at 6,600 - 6,700 VND/kg; OM 18 rice fluctuated at 6,500 - 6,700 VND/kg; Nhat rice fluctuated at 7,800 - 8,000 VND/kg; Nang Hoa 9 fluctuated at 9,200 VND/kg.

In many localities today, the volume is quite good, the buying and selling transactions are improving. In An Giang , farmers offer a good volume, the price of rice fluctuates slightly, some types of rice are offered by farmers slightly increasing by 50 VND/kg. In Ca Mau, farmers offer high prices for rice, few people buy.

In Kien Giang, traders asked to buy quite a lot in some areas, prices fluctuated little. In Can Tho, the rice harvest yielded high yields, prices fluctuated little, purchasing power was better than at the beginning and middle of the week. In Long An , traders asked to buy a lot of IR50404 and Dai Thom 8 rice, transactions were sporadic.

Regarding rice, according to an update from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of An Giang province, the price of raw rice 5451 fluctuates at 8,800 - 9,000 VND/kg; raw rice OM 380 fluctuates at 7,400 - 7,600 VND/kg; finished rice OM 380 fluctuates at 8,800 - 9,000 VND/kg; raw rice IR 504 fluctuates at 7,700 - 7,800 VND/kg; finished rice IR 504 fluctuates at 9,500 - 9,700 VND/kg.

Regarding by-products, the prices of by-products fluctuate from 5,350 - 7,300 VND/kg. Currently, the price of broken rice fluctuates at 7,100 - 7,300 VND/kg; broken rice 3-4 increased by 100 VND, fluctuating at 5,900 - 6,100; the price of dry bran increased by 50 VND, fluctuating at 5,350 - 5,550 VND/kg compared to yesterday.

Recorded in localities today, the quantity is low, buying and selling transactions are still slow. In Sa Dec (Dong Thap), Sa Dec mainly imported fragrant rice and OM5451, IR50404 source continues to be small in quantity, good rice price increases. In Lap Vo (Dong Thap), the quantity is low, Cambodian OM5451 rice is quite good, warehouses buy fragrant rice slowly, price fluctuates little.

Sa Dec market canal (Dong Thap), the amount of incoming goods is better than the previous days, transactions are sporadic, warehouses buy and select rice, prices are stable. At An Cu (Cai Be, Tien Giang), the amount of incoming goods is sporadic, warehouses select good rice, raw rice is in good condition, causing prices to increase.

At retail markets, the price of rice of all kinds is relatively stable compared to yesterday, except for regular rice, which decreased by VND1,000, fluctuating at VND15,000 - VND16,000/kg. Currently, Nang Nhen rice has the highest listed price of VND28,000/kg; long-grain fragrant rice fluctuates at VND20,000 - VND22,000/kg; Huong Lai rice 22,000/kg; Jasmine fragrant rice fluctuates at VND20,000 - VND22,000/kg; common white rice is VND17,000/kg; Nang Hoa rice is VND22,000/kg; Taiwanese fragrant rice is VND21,000/kg; Soc regular rice fluctuates at VND18,000/kg; Soc Thai rice is VND21,000/kg; Japanese rice is VND22,000/kg.

In the export market, Vietnam's rice export prices today are the same as yesterday. According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), currently 5% standard rice is at 397 USD/ton; 25% broken rice is at 372 USD/ton; 100% broken rice is at 310 USD/ton.
