Vietnam Fatherland Front of Dong Da ward launched a special emulation campaign

On July 12, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Da ward held its first conference to deploy activities immediately after its establishment under the two-level local government model.

The conference announced the decision of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, the decision of the Ward Party Committee on the establishment of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Da ward and the positions in the Standing Committee.

Accordingly, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Da Ward consists of 2 comrades and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the Ward consists of 109 members; Comrade Tran Thi Minh Xuan holds the position of Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Da Ward.

Speaking at the conference, Party Secretary and Chairman of Dong Da Ward People's Council Nguyen Ngoc Viet informed about the results in the first 12 days of implementing the two-level local government model to members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Da Ward.

Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Viet suggested that the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward should be proactive in its work, closely and smoothly coordinate with member organizations, effectively implement the direction of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the city and the Party Committee of the ward in performing the tasks of economic , cultural - social, security - defense development of the locality. In particular, it is necessary to well organize community activities and emulation movements suitable to the characteristics of each member organization and residential area; organize competitions, create playgrounds for people of all walks of life to participate; replicate typical and advanced models; contribute to improving the cultural and spiritual life of the people...

At the conference, the members also discussed and unanimously approved the draft Temporary Regulations on Operation and the Work Program for the last 6 months of 2025 of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Da Ward.

The conference also voted to approve the personnel of the Committee members and the personnel holding the position of Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward with 100% of the delegates attending in agreement with two comrades: Nguyen Kim Hong, Chairman of the Ward Veterans Association and Nguyen Mai Anh, Secretary of the Ward Youth Union.
