Statistics on score distribution show that the average score ratio of literature, math, history and geography subjects is higher than in 2023; physics, chemistry, biology and foreign languages subjects is lower than in 2023; only civic education subject is equal to 2023.
Foreign languages (mainly English) continue to have an average score of less than 50%, reaching just over 42.7% (about 0.3% lower than in 2023). Last year, this subject had 3 10s, and this year there is only one.
The whole province has 72 scores of 10, 109 points less than in 2023. Specifically, English: 1, Chemistry: 4, History: 12, Geography: 22, Civic Education: 33.
This province has 2 failing scores (1 or less) in math (1 point) and English (1 point) exams; in 2023 there will be only one failing score in English.
According to the plan, from July 17 to 26, the units (where candidates registered to take the exam) will receive the candidates' appeal applications (if any). From July 29 to August 4, the appeal committee (essay and multiple choice) will organize the exam appeal and announce the results after the appeal.
In Soc Trang province , this year's exam had 10,254 candidates passing the graduation exam, reaching 99.6%; 25 high schools had 100% passing the graduation exam.
The whole province has 53 scores of 10. Specifically, chemistry: 3, history: 9, geography: 15, civics: 22, English: 4.
The valedictorian of this year's provincial exam is a candidate from Nguyen Thi Minh Khai High School for the Gifted (Soc Trang City).
