August 13: VND/USD exchange rate increased simultaneously

On August 13, the State Bank listed the central exchange rate at 25,247 VND/USD, up 4 VND compared to the morning of August 12.

According to the regulated trading band of ±5%, today's ceiling exchange rate is 26,509 VND/USD, and the floor exchange rate is 23,985 VND/USD.

The reference exchange rate at the State Bank's Transaction Office is currently 24,031 - 26,455 VND/USD (buy - sell).

The State Bank announced the cross exchange rate of the Vietnamese Dong against a number of foreign currencies applicable to calculating export and import taxes effective from August 7 to 13 as follows:

Exchange rates at commercial banks this morning had mixed developments. At Vietcombank , the VND/USD exchange rate was listed at 26,060 - 26,450 VND, up 20 VND compared to August 12.

At VietinBank , the exchange rate updated at 11:00 was 26,089-26,449 VND, up 4 VND for buying and selling.

At BIDV , the exchange rate on August 13 increased by 10 VND in both directions compared to the previous day, currently at 26,080 - 26,440 VND.

In the free market, the VND/USD exchange rate increased in both buying and selling directions this morning. Specifically, the buying price increased by 20 VND, currently at 26,450 VND; the selling price increased by 5 VND, at 26,505 VND/USD.
