Approved the project to build a Tam Giang Lagoon overpass worth over 1,000 billion VND

HNN.VN - On July 12, the Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board (CTGT Investment Project Management Board) of Hue City said that the City People's Committee has approved the Tam Giang Lagoon Overpass Investment Project connecting Phu Vang Commune (Phu Da Town, Phu Da Commune, old Vinh Ha Commune) and Phu Vinh Commune (Phu Dien Commune, Vinh Xuan, Vinh An, old Vinh Xuan) with a total investment of more than 1,000 billion VND.

The completed project contributes to completing the traffic network in the area and Hue city.

This Tam Giang Lagoon Overpass Project has a total length of more than 3km (bridge and approach road, intersection), starting point at Km0 connecting to the end point of Vo Phi Trang Street, Phu Vang Commune and ending point at Km3+053.32 intersecting with National Highway 49B at Km68+450 in Phu Vinh Commune.

In which, the total length is more than 1.4km with 35 girder spans, width 15.5m. Along the route there are 2 intersections, including the intersection with the road through Phu Vang commune and the end intersection with National Highway 49B and Phu Vinh commune.

The project's completion contributes to the completion of the regional traffic network, preventing traffic jams and gradually completing the city's traffic network. The project has a total investment of more than 1,023 billion VND, with the Hue City Traffic Construction Project Management Board as the investor.

It is expected that the Tam Giang Lagoon Overpass project will start construction in the period from 2026 to 2030.
