There will be a salary coefficient for university preparatory teachers corresponding to the professional title.

GD&TĐ - The Ministry of Education and Training proposed regulations on appointment and salary arrangement for university preparatory teachers.

In the draft Circular regulating codes, appointment and salary classification for teachers teaching in public educational institutions, the Ministry of Education and Training proposed regulations on appointment and salary classification for university preparatory teachers.

According to the draft, officials currently teaching at pre-university schools who meet the standards of professional ethics and training and development levels specified in the Professional Standards for Pre-university Teachers will be appointed to corresponding professional titles according to the following regulations:

Appointment to the professional title of university preparatory teacher - Code V.07.07.19 for grade III university preparatory teacher - Code V.07.07.19;

Appointment to the professional title of main university preparatory teacher - Code V.07.07.18 for grade II university preparatory teacher - Code V.07.07.18;

Appointment to the professional title of senior university preparatory teacher - Code V.07.07.17 for grade I university preparatory teacher - Code V.07.07.17.

Officials appointed to the professional titles of university preparatory teachers prescribed in this Circular shall apply the corresponding salary table issued with Decree No. 204/2004/ND-CP, specifically as follows:

Pre-university teachers - Code V.07.07.19, are applied with salary coefficient of type A1 civil servants, from salary coefficient 2.34 to salary coefficient 4.98;

Main university preparatory teachers - Code V.07.07.18, are applied with salary coefficient of type A2 civil servants, group A2.2, from salary coefficient 4.0 to salary coefficient 6.38;

Senior university preparatory teachers - Code V.07.07.17, are applied with salary coefficient of civil servants type A2, group A2.1, from salary coefficient 4.40 to salary coefficient 6.78.
