During the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee of Division 304 led and directed the comprehensive and successful implementation of the goals and targets set forth in the Resolution of the Division Party Congress.

Notably, the Division Party Committee led and directed the implementation of breakthroughs in training and exercises. In training, the motto, viewpoints, principles and combinations were closely followed; training was organized with correct and sufficient program content; 100% of the test results met the requirements, with 83.64% being good and excellent (exceeding 0.64% of the term Resolution target).

The Division proactively coordinated and closely cooperated with local Party committees and authorities to implement plans for re-inspection, infiltration, and arrangement of reserve mobilization, reaching 98.6%; receiving reserve soldiers into training units annually reaching 100% of the target. The Division Party Committee effectively implemented innovation in political education; built discipline, management, law enforcement, and discipline. Led and directed to ensure good logistics, technology, and finance for regular and unexpected tasks.

Speaking at the congress, Major General Nguyen Hong Thai praised the results and achievements of the 304th Division Party Committee in the past term. Major General Nguyen Hong Thai requested: In the 2025-2030 term, the Division Party Committee needs to continue to thoroughly grasp and seriously implement resolutions, directives and orders from superiors; actively research and concretize them closely to the characteristics of the Division's tasks, and well implement the breakthroughs of the Military Region 2 Party Committee and the Division Party Committee: Improve the quality of training, mobilization exercises and the quality of regular construction, law enforcement and discipline; promote administrative reform, application of science and technology and digital transformation.
