Detained 2 subjects transporting more than 1 kilo of drugs

The People's Procuracy of An Giang province has approved the decision to prosecute and detain Le Hoang Vu (17 years old) and Dang Minh Thuc (28 years old), both residing in Ward 7, Vi Thanh City (Hau Giang province, now Can Tho City) for illegally transporting drugs.

At about 20:10, June 23, 2025, in group 9, Vinh Phu hamlet, Vinh Hoa Phu commune, Chau Thanh district, Kien Giang province (now Binh An commune, An Giang province), the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of An Giang Provincial Police discovered that Vu and Thuc were acting suspiciously, so they proceeded to check.

Upon inspection, Vu was found to have a transparent nylon bag containing heterogeneous crystalline particles suspected to be drugs. Vu confessed that the drugs belonged to a man named Huy (real name unknown) who had asked him to deliver them. However, before Vu could deliver them, he was caught red-handed with the evidence.

The police force searched Thuc and found 2 tablets and 1 nylon bag containing heterogeneous crystals suspected to be drugs. Thuc said that the drugs belonged to a person named Tinh (full name and address unknown) who asked him to deliver them to drug addicts.

Through examination, the above drugs are Methamphetamine, the sample weight is 1,000.328 grams and MDMA drug has a sample weight of 0.6551 grams.
