Time magazine published its latest cover on February 7 with a picture of a person sitting behind the US president's desk (Resolute desk) in the Oval Office. However, that person is not US President Donald Trump but billionaire Elon Musk.

On the cover of Time , the world’s richest man sits smiling and holding a cup of coffee behind a large desk. On either side of Mr. Musk are the American and presidential flags. The image is set against a bright red background.

When asked about the Time magazine cover at the White House, President Trump seemed to send a deeper message into the publication, according to NBC News.

"Is Time magazine still in business? I didn't even know that," Trump said in a video posted on social media. Time magazine named Trump its person of the year in 2024.

The White House owner said he had not read the magazine and praised billionaire Musk for "doing a great job" in "discovering serious fraud, corruption and waste".
