Training for instructors of the program "Parenting for comprehensive child development"

From September 19 to 23, at Queen Ha Giang Hotel, Ha Giang 2 Ward, the Provincial Women's Union (VWU) in collaboration with the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF Vietnam) organized a training conference for instructors of the program "Parenting for comprehensive child development".

The conference was attended by 23 trainees who are officials of the Provincial Women's Union; officials and members of the Women's Union of wards Ha Giang 1, Ha Giang 2 and communes Ngoc Duong, Thanh Thuy, Vi Xuyen, Linh Ho.

During the training period, trainees are equipped with knowledge and skills in organizing and coordinating parent groups; skills in consulting, listening, and sharing with parents in caring for and educating children; practicing skills in handling situations, organizing games, and experiential activities related to parenting content. In addition, the training class also guides methods for building a safe family environment, raising children positively, taking care of health, nutrition, supporting the intellectual development, emotions, and social skills of children from 0 to 8 years old.

The training activities aim to improve the capacity of women's union officials and members, helping trainees understand the meaning and importance of the role of parents in the comprehensive development of children, thereby accompanying their children in the first years of life.
