China's Shenzhou-19 spacecraft successfully docked with the Tiangong lab

DNVN - According to an announcement from the China Manned Space Administration, the Shenzhou-19 spacecraft successfully docked with the Tiangong space station at 10:00 a.m. on October 30 (Vietnam time).

On the morning of October 30, China launched the Shenzhou-19 spacecraft carrying three astronauts to the Tiangong space station. The launch took place on a Long March 2F rocket from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in Gansu Province, Northwest China. According to the announcement of the commander of the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, all three astronauts are in good health and the launch was successful.

The Shenzhou-19 astronauts will take over command of the Tiangong space station when their Shenzhou-18 colleagues return to Earth in the coming days. During the mission, the Shenzhou-19 crew will conduct 86 space science and engineering experiments, conduct extraterrestrial activities, and install equipment to protect the Tiangong space station from space debris.

In addition, astronauts also participate in scientific education activities, community welfare activities and perform a number of load tests during their missions.
