Full support
At Nguyen Chi Thanh High School (Hoa Thanh town), on the first day of the exam, from 5:30 am, the youth volunteer team participating in the Exam Support Program was busy cleaning the school yard, preparing tools and materials to support the candidates. In the serious atmosphere before the exam, the volunteers devoted all their efforts to supporting the candidates according to the assignment and arrangement of the School Youth Union.
Ms. Ho Thuy Thuy Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union of Nguyen Chi Thanh High School said that due to the school's terrain being quite large, with many buildings, and the exam area being far from the entrance gate, the implementation team arranged to build separate playgrounds and forces, suitable for each area.
This year's school's Exam Support Team consists of 30 members, divided into 3 groups: Group 1 is responsible for providing drinking water, bread, study materials and reminding candidates to prepare necessary items and documents for the exam; Group 2 is responsible for managing and preserving personal belongings for candidates and Group 3 guides candidates to the exam room, especially supporting candidates with difficulty in traveling or with disabilities to the exam room.
In addition, the School Union has prepared materials to support candidates in bad weather such as tarpaulins and umbrellas to cover candidates' movements and to cover invigilators when it is time to bring exam papers and documents to the exam room. "After 2 days of support, the volunteers have done a very good job with their assigned tasks. Everyone is very happy to contribute to the organization of the 2025 high school graduation exam" - Ms. Duong shared.
In Chau Thanh district, the support work for candidates was organized effectively and practically by the District Youth Union in coordination with the school Youth Unions. In addition to supporting cakes, soft drinks, and learning tools, the district's 2025 Exam Support Team also deployed a zero-dong motorbike taxi team and a traffic diversion team to ensure the safety of candidates taking the exam and security, order, and traffic safety in the exam area.
Furthermore, in order to support candidates who live far from the exam location to have favorable conditions for taking the exam, Chau Thanh District Youth Union organized a lunch break and gave free meals to 30 candidates. Among them, 5 candidates who stayed overnight were supported with comfortable and clean resting places.
Nguyen Le Tan Loc, a resident of Phuoc Vinh commune, Chau Thanh district, a 12A1 student at Le Hong Phong High School, said that his house is nearly 30km from the exam site, so he registered to stay at the exam site to support candidates to rest in order to have time to rotate between subjects. Here, he was enthusiastically supported by his seniors and friends, reminding him to take the exam on time, asking about his health, and encouraging him to do the test for each part of the exam. "I am truly grateful for the care and support of the volunteers. Thanks to that support, I felt comfortable when taking the exam" - Loc said.
Contribute youth efforts to organizing safe and effective exams
Enthusiasm, seriousness and initiative are the supporting criteria that volunteers focus on implementing. With the support of young people, many candidates arrive at the exam room on time, and are supported with study tools such as calculators, pens, etc. when they accidentally forget them.
Volunteers braved the sun and rain, supporting the candidates to avoid getting wet when it rained. Or simply encouraging words like “keep it up, good luck on your exam” also gave the candidates strength before entering the exam room.
According to the Provincial Youth Union, implementing the direction of the Provincial High School Exam Steering Committee, the Provincial Youth Union coordinated with the Department of Education and Training to deploy the 2025 Exam Support Program. The support work was planned and prepared by the Youth Union at all levels one month in advance and synchronously deployed support activities across 19 exam sites with more than 600 volunteers. The volunteer teams focused on deploying 3 main teams: the Support Team, the Go Exam Room Team and the Safe Exam Site Team.
In particular, the Relay Team carries out support activities such as: guiding the location of the exam room, exam schedule, distributing learning tools, drinking water, meals, fast food...; The Go Exam Room Team carries out free pick-up and drop-off activities for candidates, especially candidates in remote and border areas, candidates with disabilities...; The Safe Exam Site Team participates in guiding and directing traffic at exam sites.
At the same time, actively coordinate with the authorities to carry out the work of preserving personal belongings, instruct candidates to bring full identification documents and study tools to prepare for the exam, promptly prevent negative phenomena affecting candidates such as theft, fraud, loss of security and order, traffic safety, etc.
Ms. Trinh Thi Nhu Trang - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union said that this year, the Exam Support Program was proactively deployed early to adapt to the policy of reorganizing the apparatus and merging administrative units, changing the high school exam method. The work of preparing resources, materials, mobilizing volunteers to deploy volunteer teams was carried out in a variety of contents to ensure encouragement and support for candidates to be confident and overcome difficulties when entering the exam room.
This year, the Exam Support Program received enthusiastic response from a large number of volunteers across the province. After 2 days of implementation, the volunteers made every effort to coordinate with the school board and relevant agencies to complete the task of ensuring safety, security and order at the exam sites; creating the best conditions for candidates to participate in the exam.
At the end of the 2025 high school graduation exam, candidates completed the important exam of their lives, which is also the time when volunteers ended their volunteer support journey. Over the years, the Exam Support Program has become a volunteer activity that has received a lot of attention and response from young people. The program not only supports candidates but is also an opportunity for young people to practice communication skills, teamwork, situation handling, become more courageous and feel the meaning of living a useful life for the community and society.
