Young intellectuals contribute to the country entering a new era

The Central Youth Union determines that accompanying young intellectuals is not only a political responsibility, but also an investment for the country's future.

This morning, July 19, at VinUni University (Hanoi), the Central Youth Union coordinated with the Ministry of Science and Technology , the Global Network of Young Vietnamese Intellectuals, VinUni University and Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Sacombank) to organize the opening session of the 6th Global Forum of Young Vietnamese Intellectuals, 2025.

With the theme "Young Vietnamese intellectuals worldwide contribute to the country entering a new era", the forum was attended by leaders of ministries, departments and branches and more than 200 delegates.

Speaking at the opening of the forum, Secretary of the Central Youth Union, President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union Nguyen Tuong Lam said that from 2018 to now, the Global Forum of Young Vietnamese Intellectuals has been held 5 times.

With the participation of thousands of delegates from more than 30 countries, the forum has become a prestigious academic space, an effective policy consultation channel and a sustainable connection platform between young intellectuals and the Party, State and society.

Many recommendations and initiatives proposed at the forum have been received, transferred to relevant agencies and are gradually being realized. The global network of young Vietnamese intellectuals has been formed and is operating more and more systematically and effectively, contributing to spreading the value of Vietnamese knowledge internationally.

Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union Nguyen Tuong Lam emphasized that the Central Committee of the Youth Union determines that accompanying young intellectuals is not only a political responsibility, but also an investment for the country's future.

In order for the 6th forum to achieve substantial quality, depth and the ability to transform into results, Secretary of the Central Youth Union Nguyen Tuong Lam suggested that delegates focus on in-depth, responsible and effective discussions on the 4 key topics of the forum. In particular, delegates especially emphasized highly feasible recommendations that can be applied in practice in the 2025-2030 period.

Along with that, delegates proposed models, initiatives, technologies, and innovative solutions originating from practice, with the ability to spread in the community, connecting with the national and regional innovation ecosystem.

In addition, promote the core role of the Global Network of Young Vietnamese Intellectuals; strengthen interdisciplinary and transnational connections and cooperation; form research groups and specialized policy review groups, creating specific products with long-term contributions to the country.

The 6th Global Forum of Young Vietnamese Intellectuals 2025 took place on July 19 and 20, 2025, with four main topics discussed, including: Applying AI and new technology to improve labor productivity; innovative startups associated with green economy ; adapting to global challenges; developing cultural and educational foundations in the new era.
