Attending the opening ceremony were Colonel Phan Dai Nghia - Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of Military Region 5, Colonel Tran Minh Trong - Deputy Political Commissar of Military Region 5.
The 2nd Infantry Division's exercise was held from September 8 to 11 in four phases: transition to combat readiness, combat preparation, combat practice, and air bullet firing practice.
In his speech, Lieutenant General Le Ngoc Hai - Commander of Military Region 5 emphasized that the exercise is a key training content in 2025, aiming to test and evaluate the actual level of command organization, combat coordination, mobility, and combat readiness of cadres, agencies, and units in conditions close to the actual battlefield.
On that basis, the Commander of Military Region 5 requested agencies and units to focus on doing a good job of preparing and organizing exercises that are close to the characteristics, tasks and terrain of the combat. At the same time, strictly implement the procedures and regulations for combat staff work; pay attention to the working style and methods of commanders and agencies.
The Steering Committee, the Steering Committee agency, and the director must have a firm grasp of the plan, scientific management, monitoring, guidance, and assistance for the unit in the exercise. The commanders and agencies of the division and regiment must have a firm grasp of the principles, correctly assess the target, flexibly apply military art, create appropriate fighting methods, and ensure absolute safety throughout the exercise.

Through field surveys and listening to reports from agencies, the Commander of Military Region 5 emphasized that the projects being implemented at the National Military Training Center 2 are important works, directly contributing to improving the quality of training and improving living conditions for soldiers. Relevant agencies and units need to coordinate closely and speed up the implementation of projects at the Center such as: the project to expand the road to the Center, build a multi-purpose house; battalion house, officer housing, infirmary...
At the same time, Lieutenant General Le Ngoc Hai also requested the National Military Training Center 2 to focus on managing and effectively exploiting existing facilities and equipment; managing and using national defense land in accordance with regulations; strictly maintaining regularity and discipline, building a strong, comprehensive, "exemplary, typical" unit. At the same time, it is necessary to closely connect with local Party committees and authorities, do a good job of mass mobilization, contributing to strengthening the national defense posture more and more firmly.
