Japanese schools cope with extreme weather

To cope with the extreme weather conditions, in addition to speeding up the installation of air conditioners, schools have also developed many coping plans. Typically, reducing school hours and adjusting class start times earlier.

In addition to Sapporo, other areas in Japan such as Tokyo have also recorded severe heat. Authorities have advised schools not to organize outdoor classes or strenuous activities. Schools may close if the weather exceeds the allowable level.
