Son Society was established on the basis of merging two communes, Cat Lam and Cat Son, with a natural area of more than 180 km² and a population of more than 14,300 people.
In the 2020-2025 term, the two communes have achieved many outstanding results in various fields. Accordingly, the gross local product increased by an average of 12.39% annually. In 5 years, the total state budget revenue is estimated at 135,478 billion VND; the disbursement of medium-term public investment capital every year has met and exceeded the set plan. The average income per capita reached 56.75 million VND/year.
In the 2025-2030 term, the Son Commune Party Committee has set out 22 main targets. Accordingly, it strives to achieve an average annual growth rate of total product value of 7.6%; average income per capita by 2030 of 64 million VND; reduce the multidimensional poverty rate by 0.46%; and annually recruit new party members of 3% or more compared to the total number of party members.
At the same time, Son Society identified four breakthroughs: improving the quality and efficiency of agricultural production; mobilizing resources to invest in infrastructure, attracting investment, promoting industrial, trade and service development; training and improving the quality of human resources, streamlining the apparatus, perfecting the organization, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of Party organizations and agencies in the political system; focusing on administrative reform, developing e-government, developing science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation.

Speaking at the Congress, comrade Tran Cang suggested that the Party Committee of Hoi Son commune continue to build and strengthen solidarity within the Party and among the people and consider this an important factor and endogenous driving force for development.
Along with that, change the way of thinking and working in leading, directing, and organizing the implementation of socio -economic development tasks; be proactive, creative, dare to think and dare to do for the common good; act based on reality and for the benefit of the people; not be passive and wait for support from superiors.
After the Congress, the Commune Party Committee needs to urgently research, develop and soon issue specific action programs, contributing to the effective implementation of the set goals, targets and tasks.
The Congress announced the decision of the Provincial Party Standing Committee to appoint the Executive Committee of the Hoi Son Commune Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 23 comrades; comrade Vo Trong Nhan was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Commune Party Committee.
