According to the decentralization of the Department of Education and Training, 29 schools in Ho Chi Minh City are given the right to recruit teachers themselves, in accordance with the development strategy and actual conditions of each unit.

The delegation of recruitment rights also aims to meet the requirements of fundamental and comprehensive educational innovation, creating many positive changes and ensuring proactiveness, objectivity and fairness.

Among the 29 schools that are allowed to recruit their own teachers, there are two kindergartens: 19/5 Kindergarten and City Kindergarten; one middle school - high school is Thanh An Middle School - High School.

Two secondary schools are among the 29 schools that are allowed to recruit their own teachers: District 12 Economic - Technical Secondary School; and Ho Chi Minh City Polytechnic Secondary School.
