Accordingly, the program will be implemented from June 2023 to December 2024. Every month, 1-2 medical examinations, health consultations, free medicine distribution and free eye surgery will be organized at Saigon - Ha Tinh General Hospital. Every quarter, at least 1 medical examination, health consultation and free medicine distribution will be organized in districts, towns and cities.

The program examines, provides health consultation on eye and musculoskeletal diseases and provides free medicine to at least 300 elderly people in 1 month; organizes examination and treatment support for refractive eye problems for children under 14 years old at schools; provides free cataract surgery for the elderly at Saigon - Ha Tinh General Hospital. It is expected that about 35,000 people in the whole province will benefit from the program.

Participants of the program are picked up and dropped off by free buses. Saigon - Ha Tinh General Hospital supports medicines and conditions for doctors and nurses to participate in the medical examination. Funding for the organization comes from local budgets and socialized sources.

This is a meaningful activity to effectively protect and care for people's health, especially the elderly and children under 14 years old in Ha Tinh province. Thereby, contributing to the good implementation of the province's social security policy.
