NDO - The national high school exam for the 2024-2025 school year will take place from December 24 to 26. This year's exam will have 6,482 candidates from teams across the country participating.
According to the Department of Quality Management, Ministry of Education and Training , the national high school excellent student selection exam for the 2024-2025 school year has a total of 6,482 candidates registered to take the exam, an increase of 663 candidates compared to the 2023-2024 school year. Candidates take the exam at 68 examination councils nationwide.
13 subjects will be held in the National High School Excellence Exam for the 2024-2025 school year, including: Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Information Technology, Literature, History, Geography, English, Russian, French, Chinese, and Japanese. This year, for the first time, Japanese will be included in the exam.
The national exam for excellent high school students in the 2024-2025 school year is conducted according to the regulations on national exam for excellent students issued together with Circular No. 17/2023/TT-BGDDT dated October 10, 2023 of the Minister of Education and Training.
This is also the first year the Ministry of Education and Training has applied the method of transporting exam papers through the Government Cipher Committee's system nationwide. On the evening of December 23, regarding the exam, the Ministry of Education and Training said that the transport of exam papers was smooth and quick.
Tomorrow, December 24, according to the announced exam schedule, the Examination Council will open and hold a meeting; gather candidates to disseminate the exam regulations; organize a mock exam for candidates in the speaking test of the Foreign Language subject.
The Ministry of Education and Training is expected to announce the results of the exam by the end of January 2025.
