AWS Announces a Series of New AI Strategies

At the AWS Summit New York event, AWS announced a series of important innovations to help organizations and businesses build and deploy AI securely at scale.

AWS has built a set of standards for AI security.

These new innovations include Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, new AI agents and AI tools on AWS Marketplace, and Nova customization features on SageMaker AI... Accordingly, Amazon Web Services (AWS) launched the latest platform service Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, available on AWS Marketplace, and announced a $100 million investment to promote agentic AI development.

AWS has also established a set of standards for security, reliability, and data privacy for cloud computing. Now, AWS is applying these principles to agentic AI by announcing new services and tools that help customers build AI agents on a solid foundation of AWS technology.

AWS also announced updates to Strands Agent, a new open-source SDK for building AI systems where multiple AI agents work together to handle complex tasks. This technology reduces deployment time from months to hours, allowing businesses to build teams of AI agents that work in unison to respond to customer requests, analyze data, and perform other complex tasks. And AWS introduced the AWS AI League initiative, creating a competitive playground for developers to solve real-world problems with generative AI solutions.

“This is revolutionary in many ways,” said Swami Sivasubramanian, AWS Vice President of Agentic AI. “It completely changes the way software is built, but it also introduces new challenges in deployment and operations. And most importantly, it could change the way software interacts with the world —and the way we interact with software.”
