Matched more than 1.3 million records of cadres, civil servants and public employees

On September 11, the Ministry of Home Affairs held a thematic meeting to discuss solutions to promote the implementation of national databases and specialized databases.

At the meeting, Minister of Home Affairs Pham Thi Thanh Tra reminded units to 'not discuss difficulties, only discuss work' to speed up the progress of building national and specialized databases of the Ministry of Home Affairs.

The Minister also emphasized that 2025 is the year of data, so we must be determined to complete the construction of the Ministry of Home Affairs' data center that can be connected synchronously.

“General Secretary To Lam, when attending the 80th anniversary of the Ministry's founding, also directed that the Ministry of Home Affairs must be a pioneer in digital transformation,” the Minister expressed.

At the meeting, Mr. Do Chi Dung - Director of the Information Technology Center said that the national database on cadres, civil servants and public employees has been built and put into operation.

This database manages profile information and personal records of officials, civil servants and public employees serving state management, related to changes in job positions, ranks, levels...

The Ministry of Home Affairs has coordinated with the Ministry of Public Security to match 1,365,761 records of cadres, civil servants and public employees from the national database on cadres, civil servants and public employees with the national database on population out of a total of 1,436,507 approved records.

Currently, 12/34 localities and 3/28 ministries and government agencies (except the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of National Defense) update and correct data on civil servant and public employee records on the system.

Mr. Dung said that the Ministry of Home Affairs is coordinating with ministries, branches and localities to transfer data on cadres, civil servants and public employees of ministries, branches and localities according to the 2-level local government model.

“However, current data does not meet the criteria of “Correct - Sufficient - Clean - Living”, after ministries, branches and localities merge and implement the 2-level local government model”, said Mr. Do Chi Dung.

14 databases completed by 2025

Concluding the meeting, Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra affirmed that this is a particularly important political task of the ministry and the nation, which must be carried out seriously, responsibly and effectively according to the requirements of the Central Steering Committee and the Government.

Along with that, we must change our thinking, change with "digital humans" from the Minister to the Deputy Ministers, to the leaders of the units, and consider this as the survival of the internal affairs sector.

"If a country wants to grow strong, prosperous and happy, it must start with digital transformation, digital society and digital citizenship," the Minister emphasized.

Regarding the target, Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra requested that 14 databases must be completed by 2025. For the two national databases on cadres, civil servants, public employees and on social security, the targets and requirements set by competent authorities must be met. The remaining data must be "Correct - Sufficient - Clean - Living".

From the above goal, Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Tra noted that the parties must be united like "lips and teeth", not allowing the situation of "your business, my business" to occur. The leader must directly direct and have clear progress.

Along with that, it is necessary to focus on perfecting institutions to remove "bottlenecks" in work implementation, determine which tasks require decrees or circulars, ensure connectivity and reduce and simplify administrative procedures.
